To welcome Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, the PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Group is once again organising the 2026 Mudik Bersama programme. This annual initiative is part of the company’s support to facilitate employees and their families in travelling home safely and comfortably.
This year, the UT Group’s Mudik Bersama programme adopts the theme “Mudik Penuh Makna Bersama Scania”. Overall, the programme will depart 1,545 participants using 38 bus fleets to various regions in West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, and Sumatra.
The homecoming participants consist of employees and their families, UT Group partners, as well as UT School students. The departure event was held at the UT Head Office car park in Cakung, Jakarta, and was attended by UT Group directors as well as Indonesian Minister of Manpower Yassierli.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli appreciated the implementation of the Mudik Bersama programme, which he assessed as a form of positive collaboration between the company and workers.
“We from the Ministry of Manpower appreciate the Mudik Bersama programme organised by the UT Group as a tangible manifestation of good collaboration between companies and workers in building transformative industrial relations. We also appreciate the increase in the number of fleets compared to the previous year,” Yassierli stated in a press release received by Kompas.com on Wednesday (18/3/2026).
He added that the Ministry of Manpower continues to encourage the creation of harmonious working relationships through synergy between workers and entrepreneurs.
“Initiatives like this demonstrate the company’s care for its workers, so that the spirit of mutual cooperation can grow and ultimately drive more productive working relationships,” he continued.
Of the total participants, UT will depart 784 participants using 17 bus fleets from the departure point at UT Head Office, Cakung, East Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) Group will depart 326 participants with 11 bus fleets from PAMA Head Office Pulogadung.
The PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE) Group will depart 435 participants using 10 bus fleets from Cikarang, West Java.
UT President Director Frans Kesuma stated that the company strives to ensure all preparations are carried out meticulously, from fleet readiness to the implementation of safety standards.
“Through this Mudik Bersama programme, UT strives to ensure all preparations are carried out meticulously, from fleet readiness to the implementation of safety standards for drivers and crew. We hope all participants can travel smoothly and arrive safely, so they can enjoy meaningful moments of togetherness with their families,” said Frans.
To ensure the safety and comfort of the journey, all bus fleets have undergone full technical inspections at the Scania Jakarta Workshop before departure.
In addition, the company also implements several safety standards, such as safety briefings for drivers, fatigue checks, as well as health checks and drug tests for all drivers and crew on duty.
During the journey, the company also prepares various operational supports, such as bus escorts, technical services, and the provision of UT mechanics at several strategic points, namely Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Lampung.
Such support is prepared to ensure participants’ journeys run smoothly until they arrive at their respective destinations.
Through this programme, the UT Group hopes that all participants can undertake their journeys safely and comfortably, and can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in their hometowns.
