Students from the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) conducted a trial of a solar-powered electric car prototype at the Unissula campus in Semarang, Central Java, on Thursday (11/6/2026). The Faculty of Industrial Technology at Unissula developed the solar-powered electric car, which features a 48-volt battery and harnesses solar energy as a renewable energy source. The vehicle can travel up to 20 kilometres per hour and operate for more than five hours on a single charge, representing a form of environmentally friendly technological innovation to support the use of clean energy and the development of sustainable transportation in the future.
