Unique! Snacks at Kemenimipas Halalbihalal Made by UMKM from Various Provinces
The Ministry of Immigration and Community Development (Kemenimipas) held a Halalbihalal event for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. Uniquely, the snacks served to the attendees were products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) from various provinces across the country.
“Thank you for the willingness of colleagues who brought souvenirs from their respective regions. This represents a form of care from colleagues in sharing information about products from their areas,” said Minister of Imipas Agus Andrianto, quoted from the Kemenimipas website, Tuesday (31/3/2026).
The Halalbihalal took place on Monday (30/3) in the Yusuf Adiwinata Hall of the Kemenimipas Building, South Jakarta. Secretary General of Imipas, Asep Kurnia, explained that the presence of local UMKM products is a commitment from the ministry to contribute to national economic growth and to foster togetherness amid diversity.
“The presence of this variety of flavours is not merely a serving, but a symbol of diversity united with the spirit of unity. As the expression goes, sharing flavours to unite hopes,” he said.
The Halalbihalal carried the theme ‘Silaturahmi Menguatkan Kebersamaan’. The snacks came from the participation of all employees who returned to their respective regions.
The 2026 Halalbihalal momentum was attended by the entire extended family of Kemenimipas, spread from Sabang to Merauke, either in person or virtually, including immigration attachés abroad.
