Unidentified man found dead in Bogor, suspected to have died from illness

BOGOR, KOMPAS.com — An unidentified man was found dead on Jalan Mayjen Isyak Djuarsa, Bogor Barat, Bogor City, on Saturday, 7 March 2026. The head of Bogor Barat Police, AKP Didin Komarudin, said the victim was around 70 years old and died due to illness. ‘Yes, (it is suspected) to be illness,’ Didin told Kompas.com on Saturday. A witness and other residents immediately evacuated the victim to the front of a cake shop. However, after being moved, the victim experienced seizures and died. ‘At that moment the victim briefly convulsed and did not long die; the victim was then taken to RSUD Bogor,’ he said.
