I was wondering why the Jakarta Metropolitan Administration
and the Security agents in East Jakarta allow the Jatinegara
Plaza to operate and be open to public in spite of the fact that
not even 10 percent of the construction of the building is
finished.

We know that days before the Lebaran festival sales are
booming. Every businessman will grab this opportunity to gain big
profits. Jatinegara Plaza is going to be the biggest and most
sophisticated shopping center in the east Jakarta area. But is it
appropriate to open the building while 90 percent of the
construction is still underway?

Due to the intensive promotion of the plaza, thousands of
people came there to find just two floors ready and the rest of
the building still in a mess. Actually the management of the
plaza should take the safety of the customers into consideration
before thinking of the profits that may be reaped.
