UNESCO holds workshop on waste

JAKARTA: The United Nations for Educational, Scientific and
Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will hold a two-day workshop on
integrated waste management, titled "The Recycling Habit Begins
at Home".

The workshop will be staged on Friday and Saturday at the
Integrated Waste Management House on Jl. Banjarsari XIV, West
Cilandak, South Jakarta.

The first day of the workshop will focus on environmental
education and basic training for participants, including
scavengers. The second day will concentrate on waste management
issues.

An exhibition of recycled household gadgets and recycle
puppets will be held during the workshop. -- Antara
