Undiksha Opens Admissions for New Students via SNBT Route
Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) has opened admissions for new students through the National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) 2026. Registration runs from 23 March to 7 April 2026.
Prospective students applying through the SNBT 2026 route must take the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK), which is administered nationally. The UTBK score will serve as the basis for selection to enter state universities, including Undiksha.
I Nyoman Jampel, Head of Undiksha’s Outreach Team, encouraged senior secondary school (SMA/SMK/MA) graduates who were unsuccessful in the SNBP route not to be discouraged. He emphasised that the SNBT route offers equal opportunities for prospective students to demonstrate their academic abilities through their test results.
“Undiksha has prepared thousands of places for new students in 2026,” said Jampel on Monday, 16 March 2026.
The UTBK-SNBT curriculum is designed to measure both academic ability and cognitive potential of participants. The test content covers general reasoning, reading comprehension and writing, quantitative knowledge, Indonesian and English language literacy, and mathematical reasoning.
According to Jampel, SNBT represents an important opportunity for prospective students to prove their academic potential through UTBK results.
“We therefore invite senior secondary school graduates who wish to continue their education at state universities to prepare themselves well and make use of this opportunity,” said Jampel.
Through the SNBT route, prospective students also have the opportunity to compete for admission to various academic programmes available at Undiksha in line with their individual interests and abilities.
