Underpass in Cimahi City Promised by KDM Has Been Tendered, Budget Ceiling Reaches Rp150 Billion

An underpass on Jalan Gatot Subroto in Cimahi City, West Java, is set to be built soon. The ceiling price of the tunnel road package promised by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi amounts to Rp150,000,000,000 and is currently under tender.

The certainty of an underpass linking Jalan Gatot Subroto and Jalan Baros came after the project appeared on the West Java Province LPSE tender portal, spse.inaproc.id/jabarprov/lelang. The tender page states that the package’s ceiling price is Rp150,000,000,000, while the Estimated Price (HPS) for the package is Rp130,131,435,741.19.

“If the information we received is correct, it has already been tendered and based on the schedule it should be on 21 July when the contract is signed,” said the head of the Cimahi City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Wilman Sugiansyah, when contacted, on Friday (22 May 2026).

He said the underpass project is carried out by the West Java Province Public Works and Spatial Planning Service. Meanwhile, the Cimahi City Government was tasked with land acquisition. A total of Rp36 billion sourced from the Cimahi City Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) has already been disbursed to support the construction of the underpass.
