Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti said the UMKM BISA Export Programme recorded transactions of US$107.34 million from January to April 2026.

The transactions comprised purchase orders (POs) of approximately US$11.72 million and potential transactions worth US$95.62 million.

“We hope to continue these trade missions. Over the past year and a half, we’ve penetrated markets such as Germany, led trade missions to China, and then Japan. Next, we will pinpoint other countries with potential,” she said at the launch of Indonesia’s Export Potential Dashboard in Jakarta on Monday.

During the period, 278 activities were recorded, including 146 pitching sessions and 132 buyer meetings attended by 552 businesses.

She explained that the ministry has representatives in 33 countries in the form of Trade Attachés and Indonesian Trade Promotion Centres (ITPC).

These representatives are tasked with finding buyers and connecting them with Indonesian businesses interested in exporting.

“Business matching is conducted routinely online, even daily. Following the Minister’s directive (Trade Minister Budi Santoso), business pitching and matching must be carried out daily, which is what we are doing through various activities this year,” Dyah Roro said.

From 2026, the UMKM BISA Export Programme, in collaboration with trade representatives, will prioritise business matching. The programme will partner with Indonesian embassies and consulates (KBRI/KJRI) to organise pitching and business matching events from early 2026.
