Ulun Danu Beratan Entrance Fees to Increase Starting 1 July 2026, Here Are the New Prices

The management of the Ulun Danu Beratan Tourist Destination (DTW) in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan, has confirmed it will raise entrance ticket prices for tourists starting 1 July 2026. The tariff adjustment applies to both domestic and international tourists visiting the lake and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple area. Director of PT Ulun Danu Beratan Lestari, I Wayan Mustika, explained that the ticket price for domestic adult tourists has been standardised to Rp 50,000. Previously, the entrance fee was Rp 40,000 on weekdays and Rp 50,000 on weekends and national holidays. Meanwhile, entrance tickets for domestic children will rise from Rp 20,000 to Rp 25,000. For international tourists, the adult fare has increased from Rp 75,000 to Rp 100,000, whilst children’s tickets have risen from Rp 50,000 to Rp 75,000. ‘This ticket price adjustment was made after the management conducted a comparative study with several other tourist destinations. Additionally, it considers improvements in service quality, area management, and the development of cultural attractions within the area,’ said Mustika on Monday (22/6/2026). Despite the price increase, the management remains optimistic that the policy will not affect the number of tourist visits to the Ulun Danu Beratan DTW. To maintain tourist interest, the management regularly presents various Balinese art and cultural performances. On the first and second weeks of each month, visitors can watch performances of the Barong Dance, Kecak Dance, and various other traditional arts. ‘Strengthening cultural attractions is also one of the strategies to enhance the tourist experience while introducing the richness of Balinese culture to both domestic and international tourists,’ he stressed. In addition to presenting cultural attractions, the management continues to offer special promotions for groups and travel agents despite the ticket price adjustment. The discounts provided range from 20 to 30 percent. This policy is expected to maintain tourist interest in visiting one of Bali’s premier destinations. ‘We hope that with the various cultural attractions and facility improvements, tourists will remain interested in visiting Ulun Danu Beratan despite the tariff adjustment,’ Mustika concluded.
