UIN's Institute holds essay competition

Commemorating the 60th Independence Day, the Institute student magazine of the Syarief Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN), Jakarta is holding an essay and short story competition.

The theme for the essay competition is "Rereading Indonesia", while for the short story competition, participants can choose any topic they want. The essay or short story must be between six and 10 pages in length, unpublished and sent to the organizer by Sept. 10.

Only students of the university can participate in the competition.

The winner of each competition will get a trophy from UIN's rector and a cash prize of Rp 2 million.
