UIN Jakarta's Development Economics Programme Achieves 'Excellent' Accreditation from Lamemba

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Development Economics Study Programme, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, has achieved ‘Unggul’ (Excellent) accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (Lamemba).

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, stated that this achievement complements the ‘A’ accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), as well as the international accreditation from the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (Acquin) in Germany, which was previously obtained.

Ibnu explained that the teaching faculty includes Prof. Dr. Abdul Hamid, an economics expert from the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) who previously served as Vice Rector for General Administration and Finance at UIN Jakarta, as well as Prof. Dr. Lukman, an expert in development planning.

Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arisman has repeatedly achieved distinction at the international level.

“Academic strengthening is also supported by Assoc. Prof. Zuhairan Yummi, former Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FEB UIN Jakarta, who also serves as a visiting lecturer at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, and Assoc. Prof. Rizqon Halal Syah Aji, Director of the Centre for Economic and Public Policy Studies (PSEKP) at UIN Jakarta, who has served as Vice Rector of Trilogi University Jakarta and Rector of ITSNU Pekalongan,” said Ibnu.

Other lecturers contributing to the programme’s strength, according to Ibnu, include Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fitri Amalia, Dr. Zaenal Mutaqin, the Programme Secretary Dr. R.R. Tini Anggorowati, Dr. Najwa Khairinia Rosada, and Dr. Shelby Widodo Putra.

He expressed his highest appreciation to the entire academic community of the Development Economics Study Programme for their consistency in maintaining academic reputation.

“The faculty hopes that academics who have met the necessary qualifications can soon be inaugurated as professors to further strengthen the institution’s reputation on a global level,” said Ibnu Qizam.
