UIN Jakarta Vice Rector II Officially Opens MPLS for 500 Triguna High School Students

SMA/SMK Triguna Utama UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has officially commenced the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year after a management dispute over the school was declared resolved. The activity, which took place at the school’s main field on Monday (13/7/2026) at 07.00 WIB, was attended by more than 500 new students. The opening of MPLS was led by the Vice Rector II of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, who also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Foundation, Prof Imam Subhi. Also in attendance was the Chairperson of the Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Foundation, who is also the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Jakarta, Prof Siti Nurul Azkiyah, along with the management of the UIN Jakarta School Business Entity. This MPLS opening marks the full resumption of academic activities within the SMA/SMK Triguna environment after various previous disputes were resolved. In his speech, Prof Imam Subhi welcomed all new students and expressed appreciation to the parents who have entrusted their children’s education to SMA/SMK Triguna UIN Jakarta. He stated that MPLS is the first step for students to get to know the school environment, build character, and prepare themselves to face future challenges. ‘We want to produce graduates who have national insight, are globally competitive, and are ready to contribute to the nation,’ said Imam Subhi.
