UIN Jakarta Rectorate Visitation on Education Integration Proceeds Smoothly
The rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof Asep Saepudin Jahar, directly led visitations and socialisation regarding the implementation of the Religious Affairs Ministerial Decree (KMA) Number 1543 of 2025 on the Guidelines for the Integration of Foundation Education Units into the Public Service Agency (BLU) of UIN Jakarta at several educational institutions undergoing the integration process on Thursday (4/6/2026). The activities began in the morning with visits to Triguna Senior High School and Triguna Vocational School. During the visit, the UIN Jakarta delegation faced obstruction attempts from several individuals claiming to represent the foundation. However, after communication and explanation with the relevant parties, the rectorate team successfully entered the school grounds, met with the Head of Triguna Senior High School, the Head of Triguna Vocational School, and the Head of Administration, and carried out socialisation regarding the implementation of KMA Number 1543 of 2025 and the stages of integration to be undertaken. The series of activities then continued to the Pembangunan Islamic Kindergarten (TKIP) and Pembangunan Islamic Primary School (SDIP) in Pamulang. Similar obstruction attempts also occurred at this location. However, after mediation and assistance from police officers, the UIN Jakarta delegation was finally able to enter the school area. The rectorate team then met with the school principals and education management staff to conduct visitations and socialisation on the policy of integrating educational institutions under UIN Jakarta. UIN Jakarta’s legal counsel, Alwanih, affirmed that all activities took place without disrupting the teaching and learning activities. He noted that at TKIP and SDIP Pamulang, when the rectorate team entered the school area, vehicles belonging to parents picking up their children had already left the school grounds. ‘This condition indicates that the learning activities and student pick-ups had concluded, so there was no disruption to academic activities as alleged by several parties,’ said Alwanih. The activity was also attended by Vice Rector II Prof Imam Subchi, Head of the Finance and State Property Bureau of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dr Ahmad Hidayatullah, the Technical Control Team from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, elements of UIN Jakarta’s Internal Audit Unit, the UIN Jakarta Legal Centre, the Legal Bureau of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the UIN Jakarta legal counsel team.
