UIN Jakarta Officially Begins Integration of SMA/SMK Triguna Today

UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially commenced the integration process of SMA/SMK Triguna on Friday (3/7/2026). This move implements a Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs and represents an effort to safeguard state assets under the management of the Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Foundation. The legal counsel for UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Alwanih, stressed that the entire integration process is conducted in accordance with legal provisions and is not intended to disrupt educational activities. “This integration is a legal mandate that UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is obliged to carry out,” he stated in a media release in Jakarta on Friday. The objective is to secure state assets while integrating the educational unit as stipulated in Minister of Religious Affairs Decree Number 1543. According to Alwanih, based on prevailing legalities, the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Education Foundation is held ex officio by the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof Asep Saepudin Jahar. Meanwhile, the position of Chairman of the Foundation’s Management is held ex officio by Prof Siti Nurul Azkiyah. “Therefore, if there are parties claiming to be the Board of Trustees or Management of the Foundation outside of these provisions, such actions have no valid legal basis,” he asserted. Alwanih further explained that the land and all assets within the Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Education Foundation, including SMA/SMK Triguna, are State Property (Barang Milik Negara/BMN) that have been officially recorded as state assets.
