UIN Jakarta Ensures Education Integration Does Not Disrupt Teaching and Learning
Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has ensured that the educational integration process is proceeding smoothly. This activity is also not disrupting the progress of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM).
This was stated directly by the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar. He was known to be personally leading the visitation and socialisation activities regarding the implementation of the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs (KMA) Number 1453 of 2025.
The regulation pertains to the Guidelines for the Integration of Foundation Educational Units into the Public Service Agency (BLU) of UIN Jakarta, involving several educational institutions currently in the process of integrating into UIN Jakarta.
Asep reportedly visited several educational institutions included in the list, starting with SMA and SMK Triguna, to socialise the guidelines. However, during the visit, the team encountered attempts to block their entry by certain individuals acting on behalf of the foundation. Following communication and explanations provided to the relevant parties, the rectorate team successfully entered the school premises to meet with the Headmaster and the Head of Administration to socialise the regulation.
In addition to the two secondary schools, the rectorate team also visited TK Islam Pembangunan (TKIP) and SD Islam Pembangunan (SDIP) Pamulang. Similar attempts to obstruct the visit occurred at these locations. However, after mediation and assistance from the police, the UIN Jakarta delegation was finally able to enter the school areas to socialise the regulation.
The legal counsel for UIN Jakarta, Alwanih, emphasised that all activities took place without disrupting the teaching and learning process (KBM).
“At TKIP and SDIP Pamulang, by the time the rectorate team entered the school area, the vehicles of parents picking up their children had already left the school premises. This condition demonstrates that learning activities and student pick-ups had concluded, meaning there was no disruption to academic activities as alleged by certain parties,” said Alwanih.
According to Alwanih, the visitation is part of the implementation of KMA Number 1543 of 2025 and serves to reinforce the integration process of educational institutions into the governance of UIN Jakarta.
She explained that the integration had previously been agreed upon by foundation stakeholders, including the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and former Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dede Rosyada, and has been followed up through legitimate legal mechanisms.
