UIN Jakarta Economics Lecturer Selected as Visiting Scholar in Taiwan

Dr Arisman, a lecturer in the Development Economics Study Programme at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, has been selected as a participant in the ASEAN Visiting Scholars Program in Taiwan.

Arisman, who also serves as the Director of the Centre for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), is part of a limited delegation consisting of six selected lecturers and researchers from Southeast Asian nations, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Ibnu Qizam, stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that cross-border collaboration is essential for improving the quality of teaching and research within the institution. He noted that FEB UIN Jakarta consistently pursues internationalisation for both lecturers and students through various global cooperation breakthroughs.
