UII Yogyakarta Opens 38 Permanent Lecturer Positions, Here Are the Requirements
Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) in Yogyakarta has opened recruitment for 38 permanent lecturers. Below are the selection requirements and how to apply.
As reported by detikEdu, applicants may register between 7 and 17 September 2026 at https://uii.ac.id/rekrutmen. Applicants who have previously taken part in the permanent lecturer selection process may also apply, with a maximum of three recruitment periods.
Selection Requirements for UII Permanent Lecturers
- Faculty of Law
Criminal Law and Financial Tax Law: Must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in criminal law or state administrative law (tax law/financial law) from a university or undergraduate programme with excellent accreditation (for graduates of domestic universities).
International Law: Must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in international law from a university or undergraduate programme with excellent accreditation (for graduates of domestic universities).
Technology Law: Must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in civil law, specialising in technology law, from a university or undergraduate programme with excellent accreditation (for graduates of domestic universities).
- Faculty of Medicine
Must hold a medical degree and a master’s degree in biomedical science, or be a specialist (Sp-1) or sub-specialist (Sp-2) — sub-specialists in clinical pathology, paediatrics or internal medicine are preferred — or
Hold a doctorate in a related field from a university or undergraduate and professional programme with a minimum accreditation of B or very good (for graduates of domestic universities).
- Faculty of Cultural Sciences
Must hold a master’s and/or doctoral degree, with an undergraduate or postgraduate background concentrating in communication science, journalism, public relations, strategic communication, film and television studies, media and cultural studies, media and communication, development communication management, Islamic communication and broadcasting, digital communication and media, media production, graphic design and visual communication, or advertising.
Candidates must come from a university or programme with at least B or very good accreditation (for graduates of domestic universities).
- Faculty of Psychology
A doctoral degree or ongoing doctoral study is preferred.
A specialisation in social psychology, psychometrics or neuropsychology is preferred.
Graduates of universities or programmes with a minimum accreditation of B or very good (for graduates of domestic universities).
- Faculty of Industrial Technology
Must hold at least a master’s degree, with doctoral graduates preferred.
Must have an educational background and/or expertise relevant to textile engineering, including textile chemistry, textile manufacturing, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other fields relevant to textile product and process engineering.
Graduates of universities or programmes with a minimum accreditation of B or very good (for graduates of domestic universities).

Access UIIAdmisi at https://admisi.uii.ac.id/ and select the Lecturer or Educational Staff Recruitment menu.
Create a main identification number (NIU).
Log in to the system at https://admisi.uii.ac.id/ using your username and password.
Complete your profile and register.
Upload and complete the application documents.
Schedule for the UII Permanent Lecturer Selection
Registration: 7–17 September 2026 (closing at 21:00 WIB)
Announcement of first-stage selection results: 22 September 2026
Second-stage selection: 25–29 September 2026
Third-stage selection: 5–6 October 2026
Announcement of third-stage selection results: 12 October 2026
Document submission: 13–15 October 2026.
