UI installs two professors

JAKARTA: The University of Indonesia (UI) installed on
Saturday two senior lecturers, Elly Nurachmah and Anwar Jusuf, as
professors.

Elly Nurachmah, the head nurse of the university's school of
nursing (FIK), is the first person in the country from a nursing
background to receive a professorship.

Meanwhile, pulmonologist Anwar Jusuf received the title for
his expertise in lung disease. He was the 69th person to receive
a professorship in his field. To date, UI has 218 professors. -- JP
