UI Accepts 2,078 New Students via SNBP 2026 Pathway
Depok (ANTARA) - Universitas Indonesia (UI) has accepted 2,078 prospective new students through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway for 2026, of which 78 come from disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions.
UI Rector Prof. Heri Hermansyah, in Depok on Wednesday, stated that the high interest in UI reflects public trust that must be maintained, given that Universitas Indonesia currently holds the 189th position in the QS World University Rankings 2026.
“The acceptance of new students through SNBP is one of the efforts to identify the nation’s best talents. UI is committed to continuing to provide high-quality, inclusive, and impactful higher education for society,” said Prof. Heri.
Other faculties that also accepted prospective new students include the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with 191 students, Faculty of Economics and Business with 170, Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science with 124.
Furthermore, Faculty of Law with 114, Faculty of Computer Science with 112, Faculty of Administrative Sciences with 99, Faculty of Public Health with 89, Faculty of Psychology with 66, Faculty of Medicine with 60, Faculty of Nursing with 50, Faculty of Pharmacy with 39, and Faculty of Dentistry with 31.
Prospective UI students declared to have passed through the SNBP pathway can proceed to the next stages by uploading their report cards on 1-2 April 2026, pre-registration from 4-10 April, filling in data for the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) from 4-10 April, payment period for chosen UKT from 4-18 April, and final payment period for determined UKT from 19-30 April.
