The results of the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) for the 2026/2027 academic year were announced on Monday (25 May) at 15:00 WIB. Successful candidates for Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) are required to prepare several registration documents. “We urge prospective students to start preparing their documents now to ensure the registration process proceeds smoothly without time-related issues,” said UGM’s Vice Rector for Education and Teaching, Prof. Dr. Wening Udasmoro, S.S., M.Hum., DEA., according to the official UGM website on Tuesday (26 May 2026).

For prospective students choosing the Excellent Education Tuition Fee (UKT Pendidikan Unggul/UKT-PU) scheme, the required documents are:

  • Original Family Card (Kartu Keluarga)

  • Recent colour photograph

  • Health insurance card such as Indonesian Health Card (Kartu Indonesia Sehat) or other health insurance.

Prospective students must also provide consent to the statement of willingness to pay the UKT Pendidikan Unggul. Additionally, participants will be facilitated to undergo a drug abuse test at UGM Academic Hospital (RSA), Gadjah Mada Medical Center (GMC), or UGM Korpagama Clinic at a scheduled time.

Documents Required for UKT Determination Verification

Prospective students selecting UKT determination verification must prepare the following:

  • Recent colour photograph

  • Original Family Card (Kartu Keluarga)

  • Parent or guardian’s ID card (KTP), death certificate if one or both parents have passed away, and divorce certificate if parents are divorced.

In addition to family identity documents, UGM prospective students must upload the primary income statement of parents, guardian, or financial supporter. For formal sector workers and retirees, the income statement must be certified by the relevant payroll officer.

“Parents working in the informal sector such as labourers, farmers, fishermen, traders, or entrepreneurs can have their income statement issued by the local village head or district head,” Wening explained.

Furthermore, prospective students are required to upload annual tax returns (SPT Tahunan) for parents or guardians employed as civil servants (ASN), military personnel (TNI), police (POLRI), state-owned enterprise (BUMN) employees, or private sector staff.

Other Required Documents

Additional supporting documents needed include a Drug Abuse Clearance Certificate from a government-licensed hospital, clinic, or laboratory, including test results for Benzodiazepine, Amphetamine, and THC Cannabis, along with a health insurance card.

Prospective students selecting UKT determination verification must upload photos of their residence showing its condition and accessibility. The photos should include the street view in front of the house to assess vehicle access, the entire front of the house with the house number visible, the underside to the roof, living room with the student and parents present, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and garage if available.

Prospective students are also required to submit proof of the latest electricity payment or token purchase, three months’ bank statement of parents/guardian/financial supporter, or an income statement from the village head or district head for families without a bank account.

For Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-Kuliah) applicants, additional documents include KIP-Kuliah registration proof and a Statement of Willingness to Pay UKT if the KIP-Kuliah application does not meet the requirements.

Wening added that candidates who did not succeed through the SNBT route still have the opportunity to apply to UGM via the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) Round III.
