Udayana Business Plan Competition 2026 Held, Students Compete with Business Ideas
The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Udayana University, through the Ministry of Creative Economy, is organising the Udayuna Business Plan Competition 2026. This national-level competition serves as a platform for students to develop business ideas and hone their skills in transforming those concepts into ventures with value and sustainability potential.
Carrying the theme “Empowering Innovation to Build a Sustainable Future Entrepreneur”, the Udayana Business Plan Competition 2026 is open to students from across Indonesia. The competition invites participants to develop creative and innovative business ideas that consider sustainability from environmental, social, and economic perspectives.
The competition officially opened on 18 July 2026, with the opening ceremony led by the Secretary of the Udayana University Student Organisation Development Unit, Dewa Gede Pradnya Yustiawan, alongside the President of the Udayana University Student Executive Board, I Gusti Agung Ngurah Oka Paramahamsa.
In its execution, the Udayana Business Plan Competition 2026 adopts a concept of continuous mentorship. Participants receive guidance through two bootcamp sessions designed to strengthen their ability to construct a Business Model Canvas (BMC), refine business models, and develop more mature business proposals.
Following the proposal selection stage, the five best teams will proceed to the Business Campaign stage, where they will implement marketing strategies via social media. This phase provides an opportunity for participants to develop branding, increase market reach, and gauge public response to their developed businesses.
The series will culminate on the final day, where the five best teams will present their business progress before a panel of judges. At this stage, participants will not only present their business concepts but also demonstrate implementation results, development strategies, business achievements, and the potential for long-term sustainability.
The final presentations will feature a judging panel composed of academics with expertise in business and entrepreneurship. Each team will have the opportunity to present their business progress, answer questions from the jury, and receive feedback for future business evaluation and development. Through this process, participants gain not only competitive experience but also the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts.
Through the sequence of mentorship, proposal drafting, business campaigns, and final presentations, the Udayana Business Plan Competition 2026 provides participants with a comprehensive business development experience. The programme encourages students to move beyond mere idea generation and instead focus on creating businesses that are innovative, adaptive, competitive, and sustainable.
Through this initiative, BEM Unud’s Ministry of Creative Economy hopes that the Udayana Business Plan Competition 2026 will serve as a space for students to develop creativity, competence, and collaboration in entrepreneurship. In line with its theme, the event is expected to foster the growth of young entrepreneurs capable of delivering innovation and contributing to sustainable economic development.
