UD Trucks Indonesia launched the Quester Model Year 2026 at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The latest model arrives with a number of refinements, addressing the evolving needs of the logistics industry through a vehicle that is more efficient, safe, reliable, and offers long-term investment value.

Since its global introduction in 2013, the Quester has been utilised across various sectors, from logistics and distribution to construction and mining. For the Model Year 2026, UD Trucks has introduced several enhancements that it claims can increase fleet productivity whilst reducing total operational costs.

‘Quester Model Year 2026 is a manifestation of our commitment to continuously deliver transport solutions that evolve with customer needs. The various refinements we have introduced not only improve efficiency and safety but also provide long-term investment value through higher productivity and lower total operational costs. We want Quester to remain a reliable business partner for customers across various industrial sectors,’ said UD Trucks Indonesia President Director Johan Kleinsteuber.

The Quester Model Year 2026 is equipped with a range of new features. These include the ESCOT automatic transmission for the GH8 and GH11 engine options, Fuel Coach, Cruise Control, an Engine Management System, and safety features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Braking System (EBS), and an SRS Airbag.

To support fleet management, the vehicle is also integrated with the My UD Fleet digital platform, enabling customers to monitor vehicle condition, improve operational efficiency, and optimise fleet productivity. Furthermore, the entire Quester line marketed in Indonesia is ready to support the use of B50 biodiesel in accordance with applicable specifications. This step is part of UD Trucks’ commitment to supporting the national energy transition without compromising vehicle performance or reliability.

This commitment is reinforced by Astra UD Trucks, the official distributor of UD Trucks in Indonesia. The company continues to develop its service ecosystem through its dealer network, after-sales service, spare parts availability, digital solutions, and operational assistance.

Astra UD Trucks Chief Executive Bambang Widjanarko stated that this support is part of the company’s efforts to help customers increase productivity whilst creating long-term investment value. ‘At Astra UD Trucks, we believe that our customers’ success is our success. Therefore, we not only provide reliable vehicles but also ensure every customer receives comprehensive support through our service network, spare parts, digital solutions, and operational assistance. With this approach, we aim to help customers create long-term value while enhancing their business competitiveness,’ he said.

On the same occasion, UD Trucks Indonesia and Astra UD Trucks also conducted a symbolic handover of the Quester Model Year 2026 to PT Cakraindo Mitra International. Vice President of PT Cakraindo Mitra International Indah Eviany stated that the new fleet meets the company’s operational requirements, which prioritise safety, reliability, and efficiency. ‘Our operations demand a fleet that can maintain safety, reliability, and efficiency in transporting special cargo using iso tanks. The Quester Model Year 2026 delivers the performance we need, supported by responsive after-sales service from Astra UD Trucks. We hope the addition of this fleet will further strengthen our operational productivity and improve the quality of service we provide to our customers,’ she said.

In addition to launching the Quester Model Year 2026, UD Trucks Indonesia also showcased the Quester CWE 280, which is ready to use B50 biodiesel, and the New Kuzer Box at GIIAS 2026. The presence of these two models complements UD Trucks’ range of commercial vehicles designed to meet the diverse operational needs of customers in Indonesia.
