UBSI Yogyakarta Information Systems Programme Strengthens Industry Ties with Lumintu Logic Internship Partnership
Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Yogyakarta campus, as a Creative Digital Campus, continues to produce graduates ready to compete in the world of work through collaboration with industry. This time, the Information Systems Study Programme at UBSI’s Yogyakarta campus established an educational cooperation with PT Lumintu Logic Indonesia on Thursday (23/7/2026), through an internship programme for fifth-semester students in the 2026/2027 academic year.
Since 2025, PT Lumintu Logic Indonesia has been a partner of the Information Systems Study Programme at UBSI’s Yogyakarta campus by continuously accepting internship students. The ongoing trust placed in the university is proof that UBSI students’ competencies are able to meet the needs of the ever-evolving information technology industry.
Director of PT Lumintu Logic Indonesia, Happy Hartono, explained that the company needs young talent with a spirit of learning and a readiness to contribute to software development.
“PT Lumintu Logic Indonesia needs internship students for the development of various software projects from the company’s partners. Before joining the development team, students will receive training on the technology stack used, so that they are adequately equipped to adapt to industry needs,” said Happy in a press statement on Tuesday (28/7/2026).
Chair of the Information Systems Study Programme at UBSI’s Yogyakarta campus, Anik Andriani, said the internship programme is an important part of the learning process because it bridges the theory acquired in lectures with direct practice in industry.
“Through this cooperation, students not only gain real work experience, but also improve their technical competencies, collaboration skills, and understanding of professional work culture. We hope the synergy established since 2025 can continue to grow and provide benefits for both students and industry partners,” said Anik.
Anik affirmed that UBSI continues to encourage students to develop competencies aligned with industry needs through various collaborative programmes with strategic partners. Internship experience at a technology company is expected to improve students’ readiness to face the challenges of digital transformation while broadening their insight into professional work practices.
“Through continuous cooperation with PT Lumintu Logic Indonesia, the Information Systems Study Programme at UBSI’s Yogyakarta campus reaffirms its commitment to producing graduates who are adaptive, competent, and ready to contribute to industry. The synergy between higher education institutions and industry partners is expected to continue creating a learning ecosystem aligned with the needs of the world of work, while supporting the emergence of outstanding digital talent in Indonesia,” said Anik.
