The signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) took place on Thursday (12/2/2026) at UBSI Tegal Campus, Jl. Sipelem No.22, Kraton Ward, Tegal, with PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) Brebes branch as the industry partner.
As an accredited Excellent Digital Creative Campus, UBSI continues to commit to delivering tangible collaborations that open internship and recruitment opportunities for students and graduates. This partnership is expected to serve as a bridge between the academic world and the evolving needs of industry.
During the meeting, both parties discussed various collaborations that can be implemented, ranging from student internship programmes, dissemination of job vacancy information, to recruitment processes integrated with current industry needs. The discussion emphasised the importance of aligning graduate competencies so that they not only excel academically but also possess professional readiness when entering the workforce.
Laras, as HRD of FIFGROUP Brebes Branch, stated that her side sees great potential in UBSI students to develop in the industrial world and is ready to contribute through the established partnership.
“We hope this collaboration can provide real experience through internship and recruitment opportunities, so that students have more mature work readiness,” she said in a written statement on Monday (23/3/2026).
Nurlaelatul Maulidah, Coordinator of BSI Career Center (BCC) at UBSI Tegal campus, affirmed that this partnership is a strategic step in expanding students’ career access. She explained that the presence of industry partners will strengthen the campus’s role in facilitating relevant internship and recruitment opportunities aligned with workforce needs.
“Through this collaboration, we want to ensure that UBSI students have greater opportunities to understand the industrial world from an early stage, enhance professional competencies, and expand their chances of absorption into the job market,” she stated.
Through this partnership exploration, Nurlaelatul hopes to continue expanding the industry partnership network and providing more internship and recruitment opportunities for students. “The synergy between campus and industry is expected to produce superior, adaptive graduates who are ready to compete in an increasingly dynamic job market,” she said.
