UBSI Tegal Alumni Create Job Opportunities through JIANETWORK Technology Business
In the midst of the rapid development of digital technology, universities are required not only to produce job-ready graduates but also to enable them to create innovation-based business opportunities. This is what Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), as a Creative Digital Campus, continues to do by equipping its students with technical competencies as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.
This commitment is reflected in the achievements of one of its alumni, Khoiru Ibadi Rohman, a graduate of the Information Systems (D3) programme at UBSI Tegal campus, who has successfully pioneered a technology business named JIANETWORK. The business operates in the field of technology and network services. JIANETWORK emerges to meet society’s needs for practical, efficient, and reliable digital solutions, in line with the increasing digital transformation across various sectors.
Armed with academic knowledge and technical skills acquired during his studies, Khoiru has been able to develop his business independently until it is recognised as a solution-oriented technology service provider in his community. This success serves as proof that UBSI graduates are not only ready to enter the workforce but are also capable of creating jobs through technopreneurship.
“The knowledge I gained during my studies greatly helped in building a business in the field of technology and networking. It made me more confident in starting my own business,” said Khoiru in a written statement on Monday (23/3/2026).
Khoiru’s success has received appreciation from the campus, particularly from Nurlaelatul Maulidah, Coordinator of the BSI Entrepreneur Center (BEC) at UBSI Tegal campus. She views the alumnus’s courage in building a technology business as a tangible manifestation of the entrepreneurial learning implemented on campus.
According to her, BEC continues to encourage students and alumni not only to focus on seeking employment but also to boldly create opportunities through technology-based business innovations. Support in the form of mentoring, training, and the campus entrepreneurial ecosystem serves as important provisions in nurturing young technopreneurs from the UBSI student community.
“Khoiru’s success as a technopreneur through JIANETWORK demonstrates that UBSI graduates possess high competitiveness and creativity. We hope that more students will be inspired to boldly start technology-based businesses,” said Nurlaelatul.
Nurlaelatul hopes that this inspirational story can motivate UBSI Tegal campus students and graduates to continue developing their potential, innovating, and seizing opportunities in the fields of technology and business. With campus support and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, UBSI graduates are expected to contribute to building a digital economy based on knowledge and technology.
