UBSI Students Create SIPINTER Application for Sosro Slawi Factory Visitors

Two students from the Information Systems Study Programme at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Tegal campus have successfully developed a technological innovation to support the industrial sector. They designed an application called the Interactive Visitor System (SIPINTER), which has been officially handed over to PT Sinar Sosro Gunung Slamat Plant Slawi. This application will be used as a digital information medium for company guests. The innovation was developed by Muhamad Nur Al Falah and Ruhul Jadid Abdussalam. SIPINTER is designed to allow visitors to access various company information in an integrated, fast, and interactive manner. This step represents a tangible use of technology to improve service quality within the factory environment. Application developer Muhamad Nur Al Falah explained that this work was created to meet the needs of industry in the era of digital transformation. ‘Through SIPINTER, I hope the process of delivering information to visitors can become more effective, modern, and easily accessible,’ he said in a written statement on Tuesday (23/6/2026). He added that this project served as a platform to apply the knowledge he gained during his studies. During the design process through to the implementation stage, the two students were directly supervised by Rudini Agus Siswoyo Haryanto, a mentor from PT Sinar Sosro Gunung Slamat Plant Slawi. This guidance ensured that the application created was truly relevant to operational needs in the field. ‘We appreciate the contribution of UBSI students who have presented a beneficial digital solution, enabling the company to convey information in a more interactive and structured manner,’ said Rudini. The handover of this application is evidence of positive synergy between the education sector and industry. As a Creative Digital Campus, UBSI continues to encourage its students to create innovative and solution-oriented works. In the future, the presence of SIPINTER is expected not only to accelerate digitalisation at PT Sinar Sosro but also to provide valuable experience for students to compete in the job market.
