REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), as a Digital Creative Campus, has once again demonstrated its role as a campus that not only excels academically but also productively produces achievements at the national and international levels.

Various remarkable achievements have been achieved by UBSI students and lecturers throughout 2025 and 2026. These range from academic, sports, research, to technological innovation.

UBSI Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Wahyudi, M.Kom, MM, M.Pd, IPU, ASEAN Eng, stated that these successes prove that the educational ecosystem at UBSI is capable of encouraging students and lecturers to develop competitively.

“The achievements of UBSI students and lecturers show that the spirit of excellence, innovation, and collaboration is growing strongly in the campus environment. We are proud that they have been able to bring the name of UBSI to the national and international levels,” said Prof. Wahyudi in a statement quoted on Thursday (June 4, 2026).

In the field of international academics, five UBSI students passed the International Student Mobility Program 2025 to the University of Northern Philippines, Philippines. In addition, Software Engineering student, Adam Maulana, was selected to participate in an international internship program at VIBIA Lighting Ltd, Barcelona, Spain.

Other international achievements were made by Muhammad Raulfie Al Adzani from the Information Systems Study Program who participated in an internship program in Marseille, France.

Meanwhile, UBSI Informatics student, Desiana Nuranudin Putri, successfully won the Best Argumentation Award at the Garuda Essay Award 2026 in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Not only that, 22 UBSI students also passed as Google Student Ambassadors 2026 from tens of thousands of applicants throughout Indonesia.

According to Prof. Wahyudi, this achievement is an indicator that UBSI students are able to compete in global competitions based on technology and innovation. “We continue to encourage students to actively participate in international programs, global competitions, to the development of digital technology so that they have high experience and competitiveness,” he said.

In the field of sports, UBSI students have achieved a series of remarkable achievements. Starting from the branches of Kurash, Judo, Pencak Silat, Karate, Taekwondo, to Cheerleading. UBSI students even managed to win a gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand in the sport of Judo in the -55 kilogram category. In addition, the UBSI Student Choir won 2nd place in the Folklore category at the Jakarta International Choral Festival 2025.

In the field of digital innovation, a team of UBSI students called Duo Clingy won 3rd place in the Techsoft 2026 Web Competition through the innovation of the Donoraja application.

From the lecturers, UBSI recorded an increase in research and community service achievements. As many as 42 lecturers received community service grants and 14 lecturers received research grants from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.

UBSI also recorded the success of its lecturers in obtaining funding for the BESTARI Saintek 2026 Program from LPDP and the Ministry of Education and Technology through collaborative research with a number of national universities.

“We continue to strengthen the culture of research and innovation. Lecturers and students must be part of the solution to various community challenges through research that is applicative and impactful,” said Prof. Wahyudi.

According to him, the achievements of UBSI’s academic community are the result of collaboration, continuous coaching, and campus support for the development of student and lecturer talent. “This success is not the end, but motivation to continue to develop and produce more achievements in the future,” he said.
