UBSI Opens Call for Papers for ICAISD 2026, Boosting Competitive Tech and Cybersecurity Research
Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) is strengthening its role in developing research and technological innovation by hosting the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Scientific Development (ICAISD). The international conference, themed ‘AI-Driven Cybersecurity Operations and Strategy’, will take place in a hybrid format on 3–4 December 2026 at the BSI Convention Center (BSI Convex) in Bekasi, West Java. ICAISD 2026 provides a platform for academics, researchers, students, practitioners, and technology observers to exchange ideas, research findings, and the latest developments in information technology. Through this conference, UBSI encourages the emergence of academic and research collaborations capable of addressing the challenges of digital transformation while strengthening technological competitiveness on a global scale. The conference invites researchers to submit original scientific papers aligned with the scope of ICAISD 2026. Eligible fields include Computer Science & Informatics, Computer Engineering & Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Mobile Multimedia, and Signal Processing & Analysis. A key focus of ICAISD 2026 is the development of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Under the theme AI-Driven Cybersecurity Operations and Strategy, the conference serves as a forum to discuss how artificial intelligence can be utilised to build cybersecurity strategies and operations that are increasingly adaptive to evolving digital threats. The international conference will also feature several academics and experts from various countries as keynote speakers. They are Prof. Dr. Moncef Gabbouj from Tampere University, Finland; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslina Baharum from Taylor University, Malaysia; and Dr. Ir. H. Achmad Farid Wadjdi from Intelligence & Cyber Security BRIN, Indonesia. The presence of these keynote speakers is expected to provide participants with a broader perspective on technological developments, research, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and various strategic issues in the advancement of science and technology. UBSI is also opening opportunities for researchers to publish their findings through this conference. Papers that are accepted, presented, and meet IEEE requirements will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Furthermore, the conference serves as a platform to expand academic networks and open up opportunities for cross-institutional and international research collaboration. The Chair of ICAISD 2026, Anik Andriani, invited academics and researchers to seize this opportunity by submitting their best work. She expressed hope that this international conference would not only be an academic agenda but also part of an effort to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem, capable of making a real contribution to technological development. For researchers interested in participating, the deadline for paper submission is 4 September 2026. Notification of paper acceptance is scheduled for 4 October 2026, while the final camera-ready paper submission deadline is 4 November 2026. ICAISD 2026 is held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend the conference offline at BSI Convex Bekasi or online. Registration fees are USD 200 or Rp 2,400,000 for student participants and IEEE Members, USD 225 or Rp 2,800,000 for presenters, and USD 100 or Rp 1,500,000 for a second registered paper. Through ICAISD 2026, UBSI hopes that more high-quality research will emerge from collaborations between academics, researchers, and technology practitioners. The conference is also part of UBSI’s commitment as a Creative Digital Campus to strengthen research culture, expand international networks, and encourage technological innovation relevant to the needs of society and industry.
