UBSI Lecturers Share Knowledge on Strengthening Campus Admin Capacity in Academic Application Management
Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) is supporting the improvement of higher education governance. Following an official request from the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region III, UBSI assigned two members of its System Development Team as resource persons for a technical guidance event. The Bimtek focused on strengthening campus administrators’ capacity in managing academic applications for lecturers to support career acceleration, functional position promotion, and the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for private universities. The event was held by LLDIKTI Region III on Tuesday (23/6/2026) at STIE Trisakti Bekasi Campus. UBSI assigned two of its lecturers, Herlambang Brawijaya and Yudhistira, to share knowledge and experience regarding the management of academic applications, which are crucial in supporting academic career administration and university performance reporting. The technical guidance aimed to enhance campus administrators’ ability to manage academic systems and applications effectively. This competency strengthening is considered important to accelerate the submission process for lecturer functional positions, support academic career development, and assist private universities in meeting the government-set IKU targets. Herlambang stated that proper academic data management is a key to success for universities in improving education service quality and lecturer performance. ‘Digital transformation in higher education demands accurate, integrated, and accessible academic data management. Through this activity, we hope campus administrators can better understand the process of managing academic applications to support the acceleration of academic careers and improve the quality of university governance,’ he said. Similarly, Yudhistira emphasised the strategic role of campus administrators as the front line in ensuring the completeness and validity of lecturer academic data. ‘Campus administrators have a strategic role in supporting various academic and administrative processes for lecturers. With a good understanding of the system, the process of submitting functional positions and performance reporting can run more effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations,’ Yudhistira said. Through its involvement as a resource person in this LLDIKTI Region III event, UBSI, as a Creative Digital Campus, reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the development of a higher education ecosystem that is adaptive to technological developments and supports the improvement of human resource quality within private universities.
