UBSI Information Systems Graduate Ayu Amarcia Ananda Now Works for Tegal Regency Government
A graduate of the Information Systems programme at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Tegal Campus, Ayu Amarcia Ananda, is now building her career within the Tegal Regency Government. The alumna, who graduated in 2021, has been appointed as a Junior Policy Analyst in the Goods and Services Procurement Division of the Tegal Regency Regional Secretariat.
Ayu’s journey after completing her education at UBSI Tegal Campus, known as the Creative Digital Campus, reflects the dynamics of alumni entering the professional world. Her background in Information Systems has provided a foundation for work involving information management, administration, data handling, and the use of technology.
Working in government also demands the ability to adapt to systems and evolving job requirements. According to Ayu, her university experience not only provided academic knowledge but also shaped habits for completing tasks and addressing various issues systematically.
“During my studies at UBSI, I gained knowledge and experience that have been quite helpful in entering the workforce. I learned not only about Information Systems but also how to complete tasks, work in teams, communicate, and adapt to new environments,” Ayu said in a press release on Friday (28/8/2026).
In her role as a Junior Policy Analyst, the ability to process information and understand technology remains highly relevant. These skills help Ayu handle work that requires precision and the capacity to comprehend various types of information before taking action.
For Ayu, university was an opportunity to prepare herself before truly entering the professional world. She believes students cannot rely solely on academic grades but must also develop other abilities that can support their careers.
“Students should make the most of their time at university to gain experience and build skills. Do not just chase grades; also learn to communicate, work in teams, master technology, and be willing to try new things. In my view, such abilities will be very useful once you start working,” she said.
