UBSI BCC Partners with Aston Sentul Lake Resort to Prepare Students for the Workforce

The BSI Career Centre (BCC) at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Cilebut campus in Bogor conducted an industrial visit and explored collaboration opportunities with Aston Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. The event, held at Aston Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center, discussed internship and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities for UBSI students. The industrial visit was attended by Dini Nurlaela, BCC UBSI Bogor campus coordinator, and Fuad Nur Hasan, head of UBSI Cilebut campus. The UBSI team was welcomed by Arie, Human Resources Manager (HRM) of Aston Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center. During the meeting, both parties discussed internship opportunities across various hotel departments. The programme aims to provide students with practical work experience and help them understand industry requirements and workplace culture, particularly in the hospitality sector. Dini Nurlaela explained that industry collaboration is a crucial step in supporting student competency development before entering the workforce. ‘Through this collaboration, we hope UBSI students can secure internships aligned with their skills and interests, providing them with valuable experience before entering the professional world,’ Dini said. She added that hands-on experience at companies is a key factor in enhancing students’ career readiness after graduation. Meanwhile, Aston Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center welcomed the proposed collaboration, hoping it would benefit both parties. Through this initiative, BCC UBSI continues to expand its partnerships with businesses and industries to create more career development and professional experience opportunities for students.
