UBSI and Indonesian National Police Explore Renewed Partnership for Human Resource Development

Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) is exploring the extension of a strategic partnership with the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to strengthen human resource development. The meeting took place at the SSDM Polri building in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Representing UBSI were Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs Diah Puspitasari, along with deans and programme heads. The discussion served as a follow-up to a previous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, with both sides seeking to broaden the scope of collaboration to meet current needs.

Plt. Kabagjakdiklat Rojianstra SSDM Polri, Police Grand Commissioner M Anggi Naulifar Siregar, stated that the partnership should not remain a mere administrative document. “We hope this MoU will not just be a symbolic document. The most important thing is how this understanding can be operationalised, developed, and adapted to current strategies to provide real benefits for both parties,” he said.

Diah Puspitasari expressed appreciation for the trust placed in UBSI and noted the university’s readiness to support the educational advancement of police personnel and their families. She highlighted that UBSI, which has achieved ‘Excellent’ accreditation, operates three faculties with 46 study programmes across various regions in Indonesia, providing accessible higher education opportunities.

Beyond education, the renewed partnership is expected to encompass research, community service, and institutional development. Both UBSI and Polri hope the updated agreement will serve not only as a formal foundation but also generate concrete programmes benefiting both institutions and the wider community.
