UAD Jogja Expels Student for Harassing Two Female Students During Community Service Programme
Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) in Yogyakarta has taken firm action regarding a harassment case perpetrated by its student, identified by the initials ACR, against two female students during a community service programme (KKN). The perpetrator, ACR, has now been expelled.
Head of Public Relations and Protocol at UAD, Ariadi Nugraha, explained that this step was taken following a letter from the Chair of the Higher Education Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKPT) at UAD, numbered 006/SPPKPT-UAD/VII/2026, concerning a recommendation related to student sexual violence at the KKN location.
The university leadership decided to impose an academic sanction, formalised through the UAD Rector’s Decree Number 151 of 2026 concerning the Imposition of Sanctions on the Student Named ACR.
"UAD has officially imposed a severe administrative sanction on the student with the initials ACR in the form of permanent dismissal as a student. ACR has officially lost his status as a student along with all rights attached to him while at UAD," said Ariadi, as reported by detikJogja on Thursday (16/7/2026).
"UAD does not tolerate any form of academic or non-academic violations, including bullying, sexual harassment, pornography, pornoaction, free sex, LGBTQ+, and other immoral acts," he continued.
It was previously reported that the sexual harassment was allegedly committed by a UAD student against two female students during the KKN programme.
