Tyranno X Electric Motorcycle Launched with 160 km Range, Semi-Off-Road Capability
PT Indomobil eMotor Internasional’s latest electric motorcycle, the Tyranno X, claims a range of up to 160 kilometres on a single charge in eco riding mode, while also carrying a character designed for daily use and light outdoor activities. Launched at the Jakarta Fair 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Saturday, PT Indomobil eMotor CEO Pius Wirawan said the Tyranno X is the newest variant of the previous model, with a larger motor capacity and a battery capable of supporting a longer range. “So, there are two Tyranno variants, the regular Tyranno and the Tyranno X. The regular Tyranno will still be sold with a 2.5kW battery, its range remains 110 km, while this one (Tyranno X) is the longer-range version, 160 km,” said Pius. The Tyranno X is equipped with a 3 kW electric motor producing 180 Nm of torque. This power is supplied by a 3.456 kWh (72V 48Ah) lithium battery paired with a 15A charger. Beyond cruising range, aspects of focus on this electric motorcycle are the design and supporting devices that lean towards an adventure character. The Tyranno X has a ground clearance of 170 mm, providing more room when traversing uneven roads, speed bumps, or light semi-off-road terrain. To support riding comfort and stability, the Tyranno X uses a telescopic fork front suspension and dual adjustable gas shock absorber rear suspension. In the wheels department, this motorcycle is fitted with all-terrain tyres sized 110/70-13 at the front and 120/70-12 at the rear. The combination of tyres and suspension system is designed to provide better adaptability across various road surface conditions. In terms of performance, the Tyranno X has a maximum speed of up to 80 kilometres per hour. Indomobil eMotor positions this model as an electric vehicle that can be used for urban mobility while also supporting light outdoor activities. This electric motorcycle is marketed at a price of Rp32.8 million on the road (OTR) Jakarta and is available in six colour options: Charcoal Black, Mineral Blue, Lava Red, Desert Yellow, Ash Grey, and Moss Green. Pius said the company will begin shipping Tyranno X units to consumer garages starting August this year. “We will probably start delivery at the end of August or early September,” he said.
