The Director General of Immigration, Hendarsam Marantoko, initially received inquiries from Dewa 19 frontman Ahmad Dhani and the band’s manager, Dian Rahmaniar, regarding the travel ban imposed on Tyo at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Friday (5/6).

Hendarsam stated that after verifying the situation with officers at the airport, it was confirmed that Tyo Nugros was indeed prevented from travelling. The ban was enacted at the request of the State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).

He indicated that, according to their information, the individual concerned is linked to a company that is a debtor to KPKNL. Hendarsam did not detail the specific issues faced by Tyo Nugros but explained that Immigration acts as a technical executor by entering any travel ban requests from relevant ministries or agencies into the blacklist.

He noted that whether the travel ban is revoked or maintained depends entirely on the requesting ministry or agency.
