Residents of Patikraja Village, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency, were shocked by the discovery of two women’s bodies. One victim was found dead inside a well, while the other was discovered covered in blood in a bedroom. The incident came to light on Friday (12/6/2026) at around 6.00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. At that time, a visitor arrived at the house, and a man believed to be the homeowner’s grandson was still inside the residence. Local resident Sudarmo said the family had asked the man about the grandmother’s whereabouts, but his answer only raised suspicion. ‘The suspect was still sleeping in the house. Then his relative woke him up. When asked where his grandmother was, he replied she had gone. When asked again, he just said she had gone, go find her yourself,’ Sudarmo stated. Patikraja Police Chief AKP Eko Sutanto said his team is still conducting an investigation to uncover the details of the event. ‘We received the information, then personnel from the sector police and Inafis went to the crime scene and processed it. As there are two female victims, the investigation is ongoing by both the sector police and the Banyumas Police,’ Eko explained. He noted that the two victims have the initials AA and K. ‘The first victim found, with the initials AA, is around 18 years old. The other, with the initials K, is around 80 years old,’ he added.
