Two Women Arrested! Their Bank Accounts Used by Koko Erwin and 'The Doctor' Drug Syndicates
Jakarta, VIVA - Two account holders used as pooling accounts for transactions by the drug syndicate network of Erwin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin and Andre Fernando alias The Doctor have been arrested by the Directorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri). They are women with the initials DEH and L. Both were apprehended by police on 14 and 16 April 2026. Bareskrim Polri initially arrested DEH in Ciampanan Village, Cineam Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency, on 14 April 2026. The arrest of DEH was carried out because the account in question was used as a pooling account related to the Koko Erwin network. The account is known to be controlled by Charles Bernado. From the interrogation of DEH, it was revealed that around August 2025, she met someone named Tisna. “Tisna offered to create an account and promised a sum of Rp2 million,” said the Director of Tipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General of Police Eko Hadi Santoso, quoted on Sunday, 19 April 2026. He said DEH admitted that due to economic needs, she agreed to have an account created in her name. Meanwhile, on 16 April 2026, Eko said Polri arrested L in Cimuning Ward, Mustika Jaya Subdistrict, Bekasi City, West Java. According to him, initially L was offered by her child to open an account and promised Rp1 million, around August 2024. Meanwhile, her child was asked for help by a neighbour named Inayah to open an account on the grounds that it would be used for an online clothing business. L’s child had known Inayah since May 2024. Inayah, along with her husband Ivan Suryadinata, then picked up L and her child to open two accounts at a private bank. Because L had previously had an account but it was inactive, she only reactivated it. Eko then said that the account in L’s name was subsequently suspected to be controlled by The Doctor’s syndicate. He said Polri will conduct further investigations regarding the involvement of other parties. In addition, Eko said Polri will examine several witnesses to complete the case file. Previously reported, police revealed that the methamphetamine kingpin Andre Fernando alias ‘The Doctor’ once escaped from a joint team when he was about to be arrested in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
