Two Vietnamese Nationals Deported for Illegal Medical Practice in South Jakarta

The South Jakarta Class I Special Non-TPI Immigration Office has deported two Vietnamese nationals suspected of running an illegal medical practice at a clinic in the Radio Dalam area, Kebayoran Baru. Both individuals have also been subjected to a blacklisting measure, preventing them from re-entering Indonesian territory in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

“THT was deported on 17 June 2026, while NNQVT was deported on 24 June 2026 via Soekarno-Hatta Airport,” said Head of Information and Communication for South Jakarta Immigration, Rian Kasim, in Jakarta on Sunday (19/7), quoting Antara.

The enforcement action stemmed from a public report submitted through the official Instagram account @kanimjaksel. Following up on the report, the Intelligence and Enforcement Division team from the South Jakarta Immigration Office immediately conducted an investigation and on-site inspection. During the operation, the team managed to secure THT, while NNQVT initially fled during the examination process. As a supervisory measure, NNQVT’s identity was subsequently entered into the Directorate General of Immigration’s Subject of Interest (SOI) system.

Some time later, NNQVT was detected while attempting to leave Indonesian territory via Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Through a notification from the SOI system, immigration officers at Soekarno-Hatta secured the individual and coordinated with the South Jakarta Immigration Office’s Intelligence and Enforcement team for further examination. Based on the results of the examination, the two Vietnamese nationals were suspected of carrying out activities inconsistent with the purpose of their residence permits, as stipulated in Article 122 letter a of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. For this violation, both were subjected to Immigration Administrative Actions in the form of deportation and blacklisting.
