Washington — Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, sons of United States President Donald Trump, have reportedly invested in Powerus, a newly established drone manufacturing company, and plan to supply the Pentagon, according to The Wall Street Journal report on Monday.

The Florida-based company plans to enter the Nasdaq stock exchange in the coming months through a reverse merger mechanism with Aureus Greenway Holdings, where its shareholders are also “investment vehicles” belonging to the Trump family, American Ventures, as stated in the report.

The agreement also involves drone component manufacturer Unusual Machines, where Donald Trump Jr. is a shareholder and member of the advisory board.

Additionally, investment bank Dominari Securities, which is connected to the Trump family, has also been reported to participate in the project.

US authorities will allocate approximately USD 1.1 billion (approximately IDR 18.59 trillion) for the purchase of hundreds of thousands of unmanned systems by 2027, according to The Wall Street Journal report.

Powerus has also been reported to be considering the possibility of purchasing Ukrainian drone manufacturers or licensing their technology for production in the United States.
