Two Transjakarta Buses Collide on Corridor 13 Elevated Route, Passengers Sustain Minor Injuries

An accident involving two Transjakarta buses operated by drivers BMP 263 and MYS 17100 occurred on Corridor 13 along the Swadarma stretch heading towards Cipulir, South Jakarta, this morning. Passengers have since been evacuated.

“Transjakarta sincerely apologises for the accident involving bus fleet operators BMP 263 and MYS 17100 on Corridor 13 (Swadarma stretch towards Cipulir) this morning, 23 February,” said Transjakarta Head of Public Relations and CSR Ayu Wardhani when contacted on Monday (23/2/2026).

Transjakarta has evacuated passengers to the nearest stop. The exact number of passengers on board and details of injuries remain unknown, though Transjakarta has confirmed that injured passengers have received medical attention.

“Our primary focus at this time is ensuring the safety of our customers. Officers have carried out a swift evacuation to the nearest stop, and customers who sustained minor injuries have received treatment,” she said.

The cause and detailed chronology of the accident remain unknown. Transjakarta is currently conducting an investigation.

“The cause of the incident is now undergoing a thorough investigation. Transjakarta is fully committed to handling this situation swiftly and professionally for the safety of all customers,” she said.
