Residents captured two teenagers involved in a brawl in the Parigi Mekar area, Ciseumn District, Bogor, West Java. The pair reportedly struck a resident during the incident, causing injuries.

Parung Police Chief, Kompol Maman Firmansyah, stated that the incident occurred on Monday (31/8) at approximately 10:00 PM WIB. The event began when a group of approximately 10 teenagers gathered.

“They intended to engage in a brawl with a group of junior high school students around Iwul Village. Upon arriving at the location, the group did not find their opponents,” said Maman on Tuesday (1/9/2026).

They subsequently turned back and encountered another group of about 20 people in Iwul Village. They then fled due to being outnumbered.

“On their way, they were allegedly pursued by another group until they entered Gang Noan. A clash between the groups occurred at that location,” he explained.

One teenager sustained a shoulder injury from a sharp weapon. The motorcycle used by the group was also targeted and damaged by the opposing group.

“Additionally, a resident or another rider also sustained a leg injury as a result of the incident,” he revealed.

The two teenagers were subsequently caught by residents and handed over to police officers for further investigation. Several pieces of evidence were also seized, including sharp weapons and the motorcycle used in the brawl.

“The youth who sustained a right shoulder injury has received medical treatment at the Parung Community Health Centre. Meanwhile, another victim sustained a leg injury and has received medical care at a clinic,” he concluded.
