Two Suspected Killers of Nus Kei Transferred to Ambon

Two suspected perpetrators of the stabbing of Nus Kei, namely HR (28) and FU (39), are in the process of being transferred from Southeast Maluku to Ambon. The transfer of the two is being tightly escorted by fully armed officers. HR (28) and FU (39) are being moved to undergo intensive examination at the Maluku Provincial Police Headquarters, related to the stabbing that killed Nus Kei. “They are being taken to Ambon, currently en route to Ambon,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Provincial Police, Senior Commissioner Pol Rositah Umasugi, on Monday (20/4). She said HR and FU will be brought directly to the Maluku Provincial Police headquarters after previously being held at the Southeast Maluku Mobile Brigade headquarters. The Chairman of the DPD Golkar Party for Southeast Maluku, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, became a victim of the stabbing and died on Sunday (19/4). The stabbing occurred at Sadsuitubun Airport, around 12:00 WIT, shortly after the plane carrying Nus Kei landed. Nus Kei was taken to hospital after the stabbing incident, but his life could not be saved. For now, police state that the two suspected perpetrators carried out their actions due to grudge. However, police have not yet revealed in detail the root of the problem between the perpetrators and the victim. “The motive is grudge, from the preliminary investigation results,” said the Chief of Police of Southeast Maluku, AKBP Rian Sehendi, yesterday Sunday.
