Two students drown

CILACAP, Central Java: The bodies of Teguh Suharyanto, 15, and Sumargo, 14, were found in the river Donan on Sunday. The two junior high school students drowned while they were out exploring and looking for snails.

Atas Munandar, who led the local rescue team told The Jakarta Post that the two had gone boating without their parents' permission.

He suspected that the boat capsized after the inexperienced students lost control. The river is dangerous because of the strong currents. (wah/swe)
