JAKarta, Kompas.com - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has outlined two stoning Jumrah sessions during the Days of Tashreeq. The first session runs from 17:00 to 24:00 Saudi Arabia time on 11 Zulhijjah, while the second continues on 12 Zulhijjah from 00:00 to 04:00. Additionally, on 12 Zulhijjah, stoning is scheduled from 05:00 to 10:30 and again from 18:00 to 24:00 Saudi Arabia time.

spokesperson Maria Assegaf stated on Thursday, 28 May 2026: “We urge all pilgrims to strictly adhere to the stoning schedule set for their respective groups.” She also highlighted that pilgrims are prohibited from stoning between 10:00 and 14:00 Saudi Arabia time to protect them from extreme heat and overcrowding.

“Specifically, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reiterates that Indonesian haj pilgrims must not perform stoning between 10:00 and 14:00 Saudi Arabia time,” Assegaf added. She also reminded pilgrims not to depart outside their assigned schedules or separate from their groups.

“Do not follow any instructions to depart outside the schedule, separate from the group, or take unauthorised routes,” Assegaf said. She emphasised all movements must be done in groups under the supervision of officials.

“All movements must be conducted in groups with official supervision, following the directions of the group leader, team leader, sector head, or religious guide,” she said.

Stoning Jumrah is a crucial part of the haj ritual performed by pilgrims in MINA, Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The ritual involves throwing pebbles at three designated pillars: Jumrah Ula, Jumrah Wustha, and Jumrah Aqabah.
