Danantara Indonesia’s Chief Operating Officer and Head of BP BUMN, Dony Oskaria, has responded to the risk of delisting of two state-owned construction companies, namely PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) and PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT), by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

“For me, the most important thing is that the fundamentals are real. If we do not fix the fundamentals properly, remaining on the exchange would also be unfair to investors,” Dony said when met at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/8/2026).

“So, the most important thing is to fix the company’s fundamentals. Whether it will remain on the exchange or not is something we will consider as part of this resolution,” he said.

Dony further stated that his team is working to improve the fundamentals and financial position of the two state-owned construction firms. According to him, this is part of the restructuring and rehabilitation of state-owned construction companies that Danantara is currently undertaking with caution.

“I want to work thoroughly. Once the fundamentals have been restored, the company must be healthy. The risks involved will certainly be assessed. Whether there will be a delisting or not is part of the transformation process that we must face,” Dony said.

“But the most important thing is that this company no longer merely has a good appearance. We want the fundamentals to be genuinely sound. That is why the work is very deep and detailed, one by one,” he added.

Previously, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) was placed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s potential forced delisting list from early 2025 due to a prolonged trading suspension caused by liquidity problems and delays in meeting financial obligations.

Meanwhile, shares of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) remain under trading suspension and, under the regulations, have entered the potential delisting period as stipulated in Indonesia Stock Exchange Regulation Number I-N. This situation is primarily due to the unresolved restructuring of Waskita Karya’s Shelf Registration Bonds III Phase IV Year 2019 Series B.
