Two Staff Members of Gus Hilman Killed in Paspro Toll Road Accident

The head of the Traffic Police Unit for Probolinggo City, Aipda Taufik, stated that Hilman is still receiving treatment at Dr. Soetomo Hospital in Surabaya. The PKB legislator is reported to have suffered broken bones and injuries.

“Muhammad Hilman Mufida is currently being treated at Dr. Soetomo Hospital in Surabaya with broken bones and injuries,” Aipda Taufik told DetikJatim on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

Taufik added that during the accident, Hilman was seated on the right side or behind the driver, Mahrus Ali. On the left side, Alex Anwaruh was in front and Adinda Najwa, a staff member of the DPR RI member, was behind.

Tragically, when the accident occurred, the left side of Mahrus Ali’s car collided with a truck. As a result, Alex and Adinda Najwa did not survive.

“The impact was on the left side, hence all fatalities were on the left side of the vehicle,” Taufik explained.

It is known that a Toyota Innova involved in a fatal accident on the Pasuruan-Probolinggo (Paspro) Toll Road on Saturday, 23 May. The vehicle was carrying a group of members from Commission X of the DPR, including Hilman Mufidi (25).

Besides Hilman, the car also carried Alex Anwaruh (25) and Adinda Najwa (26) as passengers. Mahrus Ali (36), a resident of Paiton, was the driver of the Innova.
