PT Jaminan Pembiayaan Askrindo Syariah (Askrindo Syariah) and PT Bank NTB Syariah have officially signed a Sharia People’s Business Credit (KUR) guarantee cooperation agreement as a strategic move to strengthen financing access for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and support the acceleration of regional and national economic growth. The agreement was signed on Friday (19/6) at the Bank NTB Syariah head office, marking a significant moment in strengthening the national MSME financing ecosystem. On the same occasion, Bank NTB Syariah also signed a KUR distribution cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia as a form of support for the government programme to expand productive financing access for the public.

The KUR Syariah guarantee cooperation was signed by Askrindo Syariah’s Acting President Director, Aviantono Yudihariadi, together with the Board of Directors of Bank NTB Syariah. This collaboration serves as an important milestone in strengthening synergy between guarantee institutions and Sharia financial institutions to create broader, more inclusive, and sustainable financing access for the MSME sector. Through this cooperation, Askrindo Syariah will provide guarantees for KUR Syariah financing channelled by Bank NTB Syariah to MSME players. This guarantee support is expected to increase financing distribution capacity, strengthen risk mitigation, and encourage financial institutions to expand financing reach to productive sectors with high growth potential.

Aviantono Yudihariadi stated that MSMEs are a main pillar of the Indonesian economy, contributing significantly to economic growth, job creation, and public welfare. Therefore, strong synergy between the government, financial institutions, and guarantee companies is needed to ensure business players obtain adequate financing access to develop their business capacity. He said the cooperation is a tangible form of Askrindo Syariah’s commitment to supporting the KUR programme as a strategic government instrument to strengthen the MSME sector, believing that financing access supported by a robust guarantee system will provide a multiplier effect for business growth, increased productivity, and sustainable economic strengthening. The collaboration is expected to accelerate KUR Syariah distribution in West Nusa Tenggara and surrounding areas, while expanding the reach of Sharia financial services to the public.

Meanwhile, Bank NTB Syariah has regained access to distribute KUR after an eight-year gap. President Director Nazaruddin said this is an important momentum to expand financing access for MSMEs and productive communities in West Nusa Tenggara. In 2026, the central government, through the Ministry of MSMEs, allocated a KUR distribution ceiling of Rp40 billion to Bank NTB Syariah, consisting of Rp30 billion for MSME financing and Rp10 billion for financing Indonesian migrant workers from West Nusa Tenggara. Nazaruddin stated that the trust given by the government is both an opportunity and a mandate to further strengthen the bank’s role in supporting regional economic growth through productive and sustainable financing, aiming to drive business growth, increase MSME competitiveness, and deliver real economic impact for the community.
