Two Same-Sex KKN Students Arrested While Being Intimate in Cianjur
Two male university students undertaking a community service programme (KKN) were caught by residents after being seen engaging in intimate same-sex behaviour in front of a food stall near Gang Rinjani, Sayang Village, Cianjur District, Cianjur Regency. The two students have now been detained.
The incident began when a security officer at the Cianjur Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) office noticed two young men sitting together at a closed food stall on Thursday evening (27/8). Upon closer observation, the two youths, identified as KKN students, were seen being intimate like a couple.
“At around 9 pm, I saw them in front of the stall. At first I thought they were just hanging out. But after a while they were holding hands, kissing each other’s hands, and stroking each other’s chins,” said Haris, a security officer at the PUTR office.
Realising their behaviour had been spotted, the two students immediately fled and ran towards Gang Rinjani. Residents in the vicinity chased them and eventually found them at the KKN post.
“I kept watching them flee into Gang Rinjani. Residents then chased them and they were eventually detained,” he said.
Meanwhile, Cianjur Police Chief Commissioner Yadi Kusyadi said the two students had been detained and transferred to the Cianjur Police headquarters for further examination.
