Two Russian nationals detained in Bali over clandestine drug laboratory case

Two Russian nationals have been detained in connection with the discovery of a clandestine drug laboratory inside a villa in Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Bali. The National Narcotics Agency (BNN), in collaboration with several related agencies, uncovered the facility that produced the synthetic narcotic mephedrone and arrested two Russian suspects identified as NT and TS. The arrests were announced at a press conference on Saturday, 7 March 2026. Investigators are continuing to probe the operation and any networks involved.
